Summer at SART Inn
We are full! We have expanded and now have a nursery for the kittens and mommas that we have rescued this spring. We are going to be updating Petfinder but I wanted to post that we have beautiful kittens for those of you that would rather have a baby to raise and then have a wonderful cat for many years. At this point the nursery holds:
One litter of 5 that are 6 weeks old
One litter of 3 that are 7 weeks old
One rescued kitten that was tossed on a country road that is probably around 9 weeks old
One rescued kitten that was found on the streets that is probably around 10 weeks old
Two kittens raised at SART that are 13 weeks old
One momma and her litter of 4
One momma and her litter of 5
One very expectant momma waiting on her litter to arrive
We also have 17 boys that are ranging in age from 6 months to a year that are all ready for adoption
21 girl kittens ranging in age frrom 6 months to a year that are waiting for their special forever home
And approximately 100 adult cats that have been fixed, innoculated, treated for worms and fleas, socialized and waiting for that special family.
Our volunteers are busy for several hours every day feeding, cleaning, medicating those that need it, loving and working with our animals. I so appreciate all that they do – it is an awesome task at this point and the love of cats is foremost in everyone’s heart at SART.
