SART faces food crisis!

We have always been so fortunate to have our food donated by a wonderful food supplier to shelters.  In the past six months donations have dropped drastically, now not having gotten any from them since early December.  Our food barn is bare!  We have resorted to couponing and purchasing retail food to feed 300 kitties.  Obviously this is not something SART can handle for very long, without neglecting the medical care that our residents required to keep them so healthy, strong and bright!  So, we are asking for help!  If you are close by, you could donate bags of Purina Cat Chow Complete.  We want to keep our residents on a consistent food so that their systems don’t get messed up.  They are used to Iams, so if you want to donate that as well, we would be so grateful.  If you do not live close by you can make a financial donation through Paypal, indicating that the donation is for food for SART.

We have never been in this situation, and with our large population, feeding has become a great worry.  Your help as supporters of our mission will help us keep their tummies full and happy.

We are proud to say that out of the 300 kitties at SART, only 16 need to be fixed.  When they are fixed, every resident at SART will have been fixed, inoculated, wormed and treated for wounds and illnesses that they arrived with.  This is something we have never been able to accomplish in the past, and we are so grateful to our wonderful vet for accommodating our needs and helping us accomplish this feat.

Please open your hearts and help SART through this crisis.  We will be so grateful!  Remember, anything is everything!
