Sign Up for Kroger Community Rewards Today!
The Community Rewards Program has been a wonderful resource in aiding SART with additional funds to help our organization fulfill its mission. Every little bit counts, and we truly appreciate your helping hand and continued support. It’s a very simple process to sign up – see the instructions below. Thank you!
If you are currently participating in the program, you do not need to re-enroll to continue supporting SART.
Instructions to Sign Up & Enroll
- Visit https://www.kroger.com/account/create to sign up.
- Sign into your account at Kroger Community Rewards.
- On your Account Summary page, click the Enroll Now button in the Community Rewards section.
- Under Find Your Organization, enter SART’s NPO number: 82047 and click Search.
- Select SART and click Enroll.
- That’s it!

Quarter Auction for SART
The second annual Quarter Auction for SART is coming soon! This auction is scheduled for Sunday, November 13th from 2:00 to 4:00 at the Commons of Memorial High School, St. Marys, Ohio. There are over $3000 in prizes! Over 50 shopping and restaurant gift cards worth $25 each plus many other gift baskets and prizes! Grand Prize auction item is a $500 gift card from Walmart, second prize is $200 cash, and third prize is a $100 Meijer gift card. Food will be available as well! You can purchase an auction paddle for $25 and be entered in every auction, including the grand prize drawing. You can also purchase more bids at the event. Please join in and enjoy an afternoon of fun, while helping to raise money for our wonderful cat shelter!

Chicken Fundraiser for SART
SART is holding a chicken dinner fundraiser! We’re teaming up with Dave’s Barbeque & Catering to offer you a night off from cooking and an opportunity to help your favorite local cat shelter! You get a delicious barbecue chicken dinner, and the proceeds go to benefiting the wonderful cats at SART. It’s a win-win!

Please Re-enroll in Kroger Community Rewards
Kroger is updating its Community Rewards Program for the 2016 season. If you are currently participating in the program, you must re-enroll to continue supporting SART. It’s a very simple process – see the instructions below.

- Click the Re-Enroll button in the Community Rewards section of your account.

Can You Help?
With the new year here, our budget has been thought about good and hard. We have only donations to work with since we are a private non profit shelter. We do not receive any public or government assistance. That being said, we think that if we asked for specific needs to be faithfully donated, our money could go farther towards other shelter needs. We are very fortunate that our daily fed cat food is donated by a wonderful pet food company. We are so lucky to have this donation since we go through roughly 10,000 pounds of dry cat food each year! Treats are too expensive to dole out to 370 grateful cats, so we make our own special mix that we use as treats that is much more economical and healthy. We also have to purchase our kitten chow for the little ones to eat. We would love for 12 people to commit to purchasing one 13 pound bag or larger of the following bags each week. We use Meow Mix Tender Centers, Purina Complete, Purina Naturals and Purina Kitten Chow. To cover our needs each of these types needs to be at least a 13 pound bag. Three bags of each type is used each week.
Many of you express a desire to help and cannot volunteer. This would be a wonderful way to help us treat the cats and feed the kittens, and allow our shelter money to cover other important items. If you would be willing to purchase one of these bags each week faithfully, please email me at sue@sartohio.org so that I know. This way we can be sure all the types are purchased and that we have enough to cover our weekly need. Thank you!
